First, if you're new to iSlash, you may click on this link to get started with a demo account on iSlash. If you already have an account, Sign in.

Kindly note that to get started with a demo account on iSlash, please add your Personal Phone Number, not a Business Number.

Connecting Message Channels

Multi-messaging channels plays a pivotal role in customer service and communication. iSlash supports integration of WhatsApp API, Facebook Messenger, Instagram and WeChat. This allows customers to reach the company using their preferred instant messaging tools, and the company never need to switch different message application or reduce the chance of overlooking the customers’ inquiry.

WhatsApp Business API

WhatsApp Business API does not have a user interface so you'll need to connect it to a messaging software like iSlash. You'll need two things to start: 1. new phone number 2. a iSlash account.

Once you're ready, login to your iSlash account and tap Channels in the Settings tab. Then click on '+' channel and select WhatsApp Official API.

Follow the steps below to set up WhatsApp Business API 👇🏻

  1. Log into your existing Facebook account.

  2. Click on continue to grant iSlash permission to manage your WhatsApp billing and analytics.

  3. Select a Meta Business account that you wish to load in the WhatsApp Manager.

  4. Add a phone number for WhatsApp and choose your verification method, either by text message or Phone Call.

  5. Enter the verification code once received, then select the newly added phone number to begin sending messages.

Tada! 🎉 You can start messaging customers over WhatsApp.

Migrate a phone number to the WhatsApp Business Platform

If you're using a phone number that is already registered with the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business App, be sure to back up the chat history on your mobile device.

Otherwise, if you delete your existing WhatsApp app, all chat history will be lost from the mobile app. To back up, you can insert another SIM card into the phone and transfer WhatsApp to the new SIM card.

Alternatively, if you encounter this warning message while setting WhatsApp API, clicking 'Learn more' will provide instructions on how to migrate an existing WhatsApp number to a business account.

Facebook Messenger

This is to connect your Facebook page and also the corresponding messenger. With this channel, iSlash can do the automation of Facebook post comment campaign and access the inbox message.

Prerequisite: 1. You must the Facebook page admin or owner. You can check your role here.

2. Accept the permission required by iSlash to connect to your page and inbox.

To connect Facebook channels, follow the steps below 👇🏻

  1. On the iSlash platform, go to Settings and click on Channels. Then click on the '+' and select 'Facebook' under the platform section.

  1. Click 'Continue with Facebook' and complete the steps.

  1. Next, Facebook embedded dialog box will prompt the required permission to allow iSlash to connect and accept all by default.

If you're unable to access, please got to Facebook Page Setting → Advanced Messaging → Handover Protocol → Messenger Receiver → Configure

Kindly make sure that the Primary Receiver and Secondary Receiver for handover protocol is in de-select status. Like this:

Instagram

To connect your Intagram, there are 2 things to note:

  1. You must the Instagram Admin or Owner.

  2. Switch your account type to Business Account.

To connect Instagram channels, follow the steps below 👇🏻

  1. Login to your iSlash account and tap Channels in the Settings tab. Click on the '+' and choose 'Instagram' under the platform section.

  1. Link the Facebook Page to Business Manager.

  2. Link Instagram Business Page under Facebook Page. - Click the page icon (top-right corner) → Settings and privacy → Settings → Linked accounts → Add Instagram. Ensure that no warning messages are received. - Click the page icon, Settings and privacy → Settings → New Pages Experience → Advanced Messaging → App Settings → Messenger Receiver and Instagram Receiver → Empty. Ensure that nothing is selected.

  3. Switch your Instagram to the Business Account, follow here. - Login your Instagram Account → Settings → Account type → Switch to Professional Account → add link your Facebook page during setting. Next, login again and verify the Facebook page is connected. - Click the profile icon → Edit Profile → Public Business Information → Page (Linked without warming messages). Enable the message control. - Click Settings → Privacy → Messages → Connected Tools → Allow access to message.

  4. Verify your Instagram is linked under business settings. - Business Suite → Business Settings → Instagram Account → Instagram in linked.

WeChat

To connect your WeChat account, please register the WeChat account here. Please note that your account must be verified by WeChat to obtain the required permissions.

Go to Wechat Official Account Platform, choose either Service or Subscription Account according to your strategy for this channel.

Next, get your WeChat AppID and App Secret, set the Token and server address (URL), then press '修改配置' . Token: Please enter a custom string, consisting of English letters or numbers, with a length of 3-32 characters. Server Address (URL): https://cms.islash.io/api/hook/wechat

Please save this token and then enter it into iSlash. Like this 👇🏻

Then, you can login to your iSlash account and click the '+' button for create new channel, select "WeChat" in the platform dropdown list, and input the WeChat Account, AppID, App Secret and Token.

Now, your iSlash account has successfully connected WhatsApp API, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and WeChat channels. 👏

Start Messaging

Once you have completed the signup process and connected your WhatsApp Business Platform (API) Channel, you can send test messages to your WhatsApp Business Account using another Phone Number. If you're connected Facebook Channel, you may send a test message from Messenger.

If you wish to proactively send messages to customers, you can start using message template.

In-App Payment Setup

There are two types pf payment entities:

1. The Merchant Paying iSlash

You are allow scheduling recurring payments for auto deduction by binding credit card, depends on whether you choose to purchase a monthly or yearly plan, and WhatsApp message fee payment.

2. The Merchant Receiving Payment from Customer

iSlash integrated with Stripe, Paypal, mPay and eftPay, which supports VISA, MASTER, AE, PayPal, and also Hong Kong online payment like FPS, Octopus, Payme, WeChat Pay, AliPay by using mPay provider.

For Alipay, transaction fee is depends on the Payment Gateway Vendor. iSlash WILL NOT charge EXTRA transaction fee.
