Official WhatsApp API Number Integration
WhatsApp Business API does not have a user interface so you'll need to connect it to a messaging software like iSlash. Follow this step-by-step guide to set it up quickly and seamlessly.
You'll need two things to start:
Click here to check if your phone number has registered with any WhatsApp services.
If the phone number has registered with WhatsApp Personal or WhatsApp Business, please use "Change Phone Number" to migrate your account info, groups and setting from your current phone number to a new phone number.

backing up your chat history on your mobile device/iCloud/Google Drive before you delete your account.
This channel is configured by iSlash onboarding team when you subscribe the service.

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Log In to Your iSlash Account
Begin by logging in to your iSlash AI account using your credentials. Once logged in, navigate to the Settings tab.
2. Add a New Channel
2.1 Navigate to Settings > Channel.
2.2 Click on the “+” button to create a new channel.
2.3 Assign a unique name to your channel and select the appropriate time zone for your business.
2.4 Under the Platform section, choose WhatsApp Official API.
2.5 Enter Your WhatsApp API Number in the provided field.
2.6 Click the Save button to confirm your settings.
2.7 Once you have completed the above steps, contact our onboarding team to assist you in obtaining the verification code required to verify your number.
Make sure to use a phone number that has NOT been previously associated with other WhatsApp services. This number should be exclusively dedicated to the WhatsApp Business Platform (API).
3. Integrate WhatsApp API with Facebook
After saving your channel settings, a blue button labelled “Continue with Facebook” will appear.
3.1 Click "Continue with Facebook"
3.2 You will be redirected to the Meta page. Click “Continue as” and then “Get Started”.
3.3 Fill in your Business Information, create a new WhatsApp Business Account (both).
Note: Enter a valid business website, as Facebook uses the website information to check compliance with WhatsApp's Commerce Policy.
3.4 Enter the Account Name and Display Name.
WhatsApp Business Account Name: Internal Reference in your business account
WhatsApp Business Display Name: is the name what your customer will see.
Category: Select the category that best describe your business.
3.5 Verify your WhatsApp Business number.
Choose either text message or phone call for verification.
If you choose text message, you will receive a verification code via SMS. If you choose a phone call, you will receive a call with the code.
Ensure the phone number you register for the WhatsApp Business API can receive both SMS and phone calls.
3.6 Enter the verification code and click Next.
3.6 On the next page, click Continue and then Finish to complete the setup.
4. Finalize Setup in iSlash Platform
Return to the iSlash platform and click Save again.
To ensure everything is working correctly, test the integration by using another phone number to send a message and verify the reply.
