Integrate your business with Instagram for seamless customer interactions. By linking your Facebook Page to iSlash, you can boost your organic reach, optimize conversions with the Conversions API (CAPI), and access the inbox messages.

Instagram Integration

To integrate your Instagram business account, there are 3 things to note:

• You must the Instagram Full Control Admin or Owner.

• Upgrade the Instagram Profile to Business Account.

• At Business Manager, link the Instagram Profile to the right Business Portfolio.

Step-by-step Guide

1. Logon to iSlash AI platform.

2. Go to Settings:

1. Go to Channels and click on "+" to create a new channel.

2. Rename to "Instagram", then under the Platform section, select "Instagram" and click Save.

1. Click "Continue with Facebook".

Upgrading Your Instagram Profile to Business Account

You will need to login to your Instagram Account to make the switch. While you are at it, you can also link the Instagram Account to your Facebook page of the same login access.

1. First login Instagram App.

2. At your Instagram Profile view, go to Settings and activity (top-right corner).

3. Tap "Accounts".

4. Tap "Switch to Professional account" and tap "Next".

5. Select "Business" and tap "Next".

6. You can opt to add contact details or skip this step.

7. Tap "Log in to Facebook" and follow the steps to connect your business account to the right Facebook Page associated with your business.

To verify the Facebook page is connected

1. Click on profile icon (bottom-right corner)

2. Go to "Edit Profile"

3. Under the section "Public Business Information > Page.

The Facebook Page that is linked will be shown here.

To enable Message Control

1. At your Instagram Profile view, go to Settings (top-right corner)

2. Go to “Messages and story replies".

3. Select "Messages requests".

4. Below Connected tools, toggle on for "Allow access to messages".

If you turn it on, anyone with approved access to Facebook Pages, Meta Business Suite, Business Manager and other connected third-party apps can view and send messages from your Instagram account.

If you turn it off, you'll only be able to view and send messages from your Instagram account.

1. Go to Facebook Business Manager

To connect your Facebook Page and Instagram account

1. Log in to Facebook, then click your profile photo in the top right.

2. Click See all profiles, then select the Page that you want to switch into.

3. Click your Page's profile picture in the top right of Facebook.

4. Click Settings and privacy, then click Settings.

5. Under Permissions, click Linked accounts.

6. Next to Instagram, click View.

7. Click Connect account, then follow the steps to connect your Facebook Page and Instagram account.

To verify the Instagram account is linked under business

1. At your Instagram Profile view, go to Settings (top-right corner)

2. Tap “Accounts Centre".

3. Tap "Profiles" and you will be able to see all the linked Facebook page and Instagram accounts.
